Rose Govender (Podiatrist)

Rose Govender graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2010 with honors in the Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Podiatry. Rose has worked in areas from the Western Corridor to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane as both a private practice podiatrist and mobile aged care podiatrist.

This vast area has encouraged Rose to develop an interest in Geriatric foot care and management in the care of the at-risk foot as she has seen the impact of rural isolation and the effects of Chronic disease has on the lower limb. Paediatric and Biomechanical podiatry related issues are also an interest for her as she believes podiatry plays an important part in the treatment and prevention of injuries in the body.

In 2016, she decided to create GO Feet Podiatry to provide exceptional podiatric services to the public that would easily accessible and affordable. We believe in providing personalised treatment based on each individual’s needs. GO Feet Podiatry currently has 4 practices within Brisbane and is excited to begin providing our outstanding services at Rochedale Family Practice.  

Rose also works part-time at the Mater trying to provide excellent and best practice treatment to the private and public sector. She is passionate about providing a high level of quality care and believes in a multidisciplinary approach on care to provide the best possible outcome for her patients.

Rose enjoys that podiatry allows her to meet a wide variety of people at work and solve problems with a smile on her face. She regularly attends Diabetes Australia Workshops and Podiatric Surgeons Conferences to ensure she is up to date with best practice therapies.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her young family and friends, exploring and trying new foods and experiences.

Rose is available for podiatry appointments every Thursday fortnightly.
