Lisa Adams (Dietitian)

Lisa has a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) from UNSW and a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from Griffith University with Honours. She founded Apple-A-Day Dietetics eight years ago with the aim of making quality nutritional advice as accessible as possible.

She has experience working in public hospitals, nursing homes and private practice.  Her speciality areas are weight-loss, chronic disease management (including diabetes, cardiovascular, renal and pulmonary disease) and healthy ageing.  She is passionate about healthy eating and nutrition, and is able to provide dietary advice in a friendly, relaxed environment.  Lisa currently runs clinics at the Gold Coast, Logan Village, Jimboomba, Rochedale and Shailer Park as well as providing a home visiting service throughout Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.  Her passion for dietetics lies in community and aged care, nutrition for the elderly and chronic disease management.

On a personal note, Lisa is a busy mum with two small children. She understands how difficult it can be to maintain a healthy lifestyle while juggling other commitments.  She loves all things food including cooking, baking, eating out, growing vegetables and going to farmers markets.  She also enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, swimming and reading (when she gets the chance!!)

Lisa is available for appointments fortnightly on Wednesday and Saturday morning.
